Disaster Communication Plan

In the event of a significant disaster, local communications may be impaired to the point you may not be able to determine the circumstances at your family center. Accordingly, the YMCA of Broward County will utilize the YMCA of the USA emergency hotline that can be utilized by staff and members at 1-877-248-5863 ext. 2508. 
Immediately following a catastrophe in our area:

1. If local communications are operable:
1. Contact Family Center directly:

2. If local communications are impaired:

2. Tune to local radio stations for periodic updates
3. Information will be posted in Local Newspapers regarding operations
4. Review posted information at main entrances to:
